Annapurna Circuit Trek is one of the most popular and commercialized trek of Nepal. The Annapurna Ranges, Everest Ranges and Kanchenjunga Base Camp treks are three of the most well-known treks in Nepal, but in most cases Annapurna Circuit trek has always topped the list. This trek is nothing sort of a masterpiece due to its variations in landscapes, weather, culture and much more. The trek starts from low altitude Bhulbhule at 840 meters and gradually inclines up to 5,416 meters at Thorong La Pass. The trek makes a circle and covers the major attractions of Nepal that are the flatlands, hilly regions and the mighty Mountains. We cover the two hidden valleys of Nepal that are Mustang and Manang which are very well known among the trekkers due to the region’s unique desert like landscapes. After covering all of these beautiful valleys we end our trek at Jomsom by cheering with infamous Marpha wine.
The trek takes typically longer to complete than the programme we’ve prepared for you. This package is a short insight to beautiful Annapurna Region for the people who don’t have enough time to complete the whole circuit. It can be done with friends and family with good physical ability. The altitude goes above 5000 meters so children below 12 years aren’t recommended to be taken to this trek. You also get to experience the way of life of people in the Himalayan remote region of Nepal. As you hike upto Thorong La Pass you’ll pass many beautiful villages and exquisite monasteries with welcoming and wonderful people. The food and the culture are also one of the most exquisite attractions of the region.
As the altitude goes above 5,000 meters during the Annapurna Circuit Trek, trekkers need to be in a very good physical shape before embarking on the journey. Basic physical exercises are recommended to all the travellers 3-4 months prior to the trek. For your own comfort carrying basic trekking gears with you is also recommended to all the trekkers. There might be some hardships along the way but the trek surely will be worth it as you taste the authentic local foods and beverages along with the spectacular sceneries. The permits needed for the trek are TIMS permit and Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) permits, which we will acquire for you before you start the trek.
After a short visit of major UNESCO world heritage sites in Kathmandu, he trek begins with a spectacular drive to Bhulbhule, the place where our trek begins. We head to Ghermuphant and stay for the night with a belly full of local foods and beverages. We embark to beautiful village Tal the next day, which will be around 5 to 6 hours of walk.
