The 13 Days Multi-Activity Trip in Nepal is, as the name suggests, an adventurous journey to the Mardi Himal region of Nepal, incorporating the best outdoor nature activities that the Nepali Himalayan wilderness has to offer. It is a journey to the Mardi Himal Base Camp, with trekking trails that wind through off-beaten destinations and hidden settlements in the river valleys of the Mardi Peak.
The journey begins with a scenic drive to the gorgeous lake-side city of Pokhara, the tourist capital of Nepal. Located beside Phewa Lake and close to the Annapurna Mountains, Pokhara presents trekkers with a relaxing respite before the trekking journey.
Likewise, the trek then begins with a drive to Phedi. From there, the path then meanders through the outskirts of the Annapurna Valley towards the Mardi Himal Base Camp. Trekkers go through many obscure off-the-beaten-paths sites like Pitam Deurali and Forest Camp as they make their way towards the base camp of the Mardi Himal.
The trekking journey presents trekkers with a chance to experience the ethnic Magar and Gurung cultures of the Himalayas, as well as enjoy the beautiful natural opulence of the undisturbed Himalayan foothills. Moreover, after the trek, the adventure then continues with a drive to Damauli where trekkers can experience the fast-flowing rapids of the Seti River via kayaking.
The final stretch of the journey then takes the visitors to the famed Chitwan National Park, one of the two national parks of Nepal listed in the UNESCO Natural World Heritage Sites list. The park is popular for its jungle safaris done on the backs of elephants, as well as Tharu cultural programs organized by the ethnic people. The park is also home to many endangered species of animals like the Royal Bengal Tiger and the Musk Deer among others.
The Multi-Activity Trip in Nepal is an amalgamation of the best outdoor adventures that Nepal is famous for. It presents enthusiastic travelers with the prospect of enjoying the best experiences in one go.

Drive to Pokhara
From Kathmandu, you will take an early bus to Pokhara- the famous tourist hub of the country. The drive takes about 6 hours and along the journey, you can enjoy the scenic view of terrace farms, rivers, and vast pastures. As you near the city, you can also catch your first glimpse of the Annapurna range. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel, and in the evening, you can also enjoy a leisurely boat ride on the beautiful Phewa Lake. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara.
Drive to Phedi and trek to Pitam-Deurali (2100m)
From Pokhara, you will have a short drive to the village of Phedi. From there, the trek begins as you follow the path to the beautiful village of Pothana. The trekking trail is laden with rhododendron trees, and the environment is lush with the greenery of trans-Himalayan Pinewoods. From Pothana, the trekking trail then leads to the settlement of Pitam Deurali, where the entrance to the Annapurna Sanctuary is located. Overnight stay at the guesthouse.
Pitam Deurali to Forest Camp (2550m) 4-5 hours
Turning away from the main sanctuary trail, you will instead climb towards the Forest Camp, following a path that coruscates through the valley forests. Once you start gaining elevation, the path clears away from the forest and opens out towards Himalayan fields. You can get good views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Peaks from Forest Camp. Overnight stay.
Forest Camp (2550m) to Low Camp (2990m) 3 hours
From Forest Camp, you will follow the trail to Low Camp. The views of the Annapurna Mountains along the trekking journey are quite amazing; the Himalayan peaks tower over the valley dramatically. While ascending, you will start to notice the change in the vegetation as well, as the rhododendron woods are replaced with moist forests of maple and oak with the thick growth of lichen and wood-moss. Low Camp has a sparse number of lodges. Overnight stay at Low Camp.
Low Camp (2990m) to High Camp (3580m) 3 hours
From Low Camp, you will make your way to High Camp today, following a steep flat path through the wet woodlands. As you hike up to High Camp, the trail breaks out once the tree line is crossed. The wood clearing presents marvelous views of the Himalayas, with the Annapurna South and the Hiunchuli Himal towers beautifully on the horizon to the west of the trail. The broken trail continues towards the Mardi Himal ridge where many colorful Danphe birds can be seen. Finally, the trail arrives at High Camp. Overnight stay at High Camp.
Day hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4500m) and return to High Camp (3580m) 6-7 hours
Early in the morning, you can witness the breathtaking phenomenon of the sun rays flowing down the silver mountains of the Annapurna. It is simply indescribable. After enjoying the panoramic views of the Himalayas, you will then trek along a well-established path through the grassy slope to Mardi Himal Base Camp. Along the way, you can also see many Dzos (yak/cow crossbreeds) grazing in the pasture fields. You will also pass by many herders' huts. After taking in the views from the base camp, you will then trek back to High Camp. Overnight stay at High Camp.
High Camp (3580m) to Sidhing (1850m) 6 hours
While returning, you will follow another route that winds around the valley. From High Camp, you will get back to Low Camp, from where the trail goes steeply towards the Siding village- a traditional settlement hidden away from the busy trekking trails of the region. It is a peaceful little village where goats and cows loiter about the cobbled streets. Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Siding village.
Sidhing (1850m) to Lumre -3 hours and drive to Pokhara- 3 hours
From Siding, you will first trek for about 3 hours to the village of Lumre, passing by the ethnic Brahmin villages of Kalimati and Ghalel. At Lumre, a car or a jeep will take you back to Pokhara; the drive takes about 2 hours. Overnights stay at the Hotel in Pokhara.
