Mardi Himal trek is one of the most popular and commercialized trek of Annapurna Region. The trek slightly follows the iconic trekking trail of Annapurna Base Cam but it differs throughout the way as we hike to the forest camp. The trek goes to the base of Mardi Himal at an altitude of 4,500 meters. You can find many small teahouses and local lodges along the way as this is one of the most commercialized treks. The trek is famous because of the obvious breathtaking and spectacular views of all the mountains in the Annapurna Ranges. Not only the mountains but the customs and culture with narrow roads and beautiful rhododendron forests make this infamous trek totally worthwhile.
The trek is most suitable for those nature enthusiasts who want to explore the commercialized places with lesser risk and more facilities. You can embark on this journey with your family and friend without having to concern about accommodation and other basic facilities. The trek goes through the depth of nature to best of Himalayas which can give the new generation an utmost experience on human existence and nature. Our guides and potters will take care of your luggage and navigation while you can relax and enjoy the nature away from all the hustles and bustles of city life.Before beginning the Mardi Himal Trek, it is must for the trekkers to be in good a physical condition because the altitude will exceed 4,500 meters. All travelers are advised to engage in some basic physical activity three to four months before embarking on this wonderful journey. All hikers are advised to bring some basic trekking equipment with them for their personal comfort. Even though there may be some challenges along the way, the journey will be worthwhile as you sample the traditional cuisine and drinks from the region and take in the breathtaking scenery. Before you begin the trek, we will obtain the TIMS permission and the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) permit for you.
After your trek preparation ends in Kathmandu, the trek begins with a spectacular flight to Pokhara, from where we take a short drive to Kande and begin our journey to Pothana. We enjoy the first night in the Himalayas and head to popular Forest Camp. We embark to beautiful Badal Dada the next day, which will be around 5 to 6 hours of walk. We reach High Camp the next day and enjoy the best sceneries in the region. The following day we reach the much awaited Mardi Base Camp, which is our last destination upwards. The same day we hike back to low camp and stay for the night. The next day we descend to Sidhing and drive to Pokhara. The last day we take a stunning drive back to Kathmandu which marks the end to our spectacular Mardi Himal Trek.

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m/4,593ft) - Transfer to hotel & Trip Preparation
Upon your arrival at the Kathmandu airport, you will be greeted by our airport representative and transferred to your 3-star level hotel in a private tourist vehicle. You will spend the night at the hotel and enjoy a dinner.
Fly to Pokhara, drive to Kande and trek to Pothana (1,990m/6,528ft) - 25 minutes flight, 1 hour drive and 2 to 3 hours trek
We fly to Pokhara early in the morning via domestic airport. You’ll be able to enjoy much beautiful scenery along the way. As you reach Pokhara and eat your meal we’ll take a short drive to Kande and begin our hike to Pothana.
Trek to Forest Camp (2,600m/8,531ft) - 4 to 5 hours trek
Today after delicious breakfast we head to Forest Camp, a popular destination of the region. Forest Camp is known for its beautiful landscape and the views. We stay at forest camp for the night and continue our journey tomorrow.
Trek to Badal Danda (3,210m/11,528ft) - 3 to 4 hours trek
Passing narrow roads, beautiful rhododendron forest, and many creeks and crooks we reach Badal Danda where we’ll give in for the day.
Trek to High Camp (3,600m/11,810ft) and Acclimatization - 2 to 3 hours trek
Today we reach High Camp after a short hike and we rest for the day as we acclimatize our body to the altitude. You can wander around and enjoy delicious meals while you’re in the High Camp.
Hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m/14,760ft) and trek to Low Camp (3,050m/10,006ft) - 8 to 9 hours trek
And today is the day that makes the whole journey even more worthwhile because we’ll reach Mardi Himal Base camp and enjoy the breathtaking mountain views. After we finish clicking pictures we hike down to Low Camp to stay for the night.
Trek to Sidhing and drive to Pokhara (800m/2,624ft) - 3 -4 hours trek
Today we hike back to Sidhing and head to Pokhara. You can enjoy boating or take a walk around Lakeside in the evening as we head back to Kathmandu tomorrow.
Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,400m/4,593ft) - 25 minutes flight
Today we fly back to Kathmandu via Pokhara International Airport. You’ll be transferred to a cozy Hotel and you can go shop for souvenirs in the evening. Today marks the end to this beautiful journey as you’ll be heading back to your home tomorrow.
Departure day
Today is the final day of your trek, and we prepare for our departure. We provide transportation to drop you off at the Tribhuvan International Airport. We exchange final farewells and hope to see each other again in the future. We wish you a pleasant journey and have a safe flight!!!.
