Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

You may arrive in Kathmandu at any time. Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by one of our airport representatives. He will help you get transferred to your Hotel. There are no plans activated for the day, thus you may check into your Hotel and relax. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2

Kathmandu valley sightseeing and tour preparation

Today, you will have a guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city's heritage sites. You will start with a visit to the Pashupatinath, a revered Hindu temple situated by the banks of the Bagmati River. You can also sometimes see the cremation ceremony of the Hindu people here. During festivals like Janai Poornima, the temple is swarmed by Hindu devotees, as well as Sadhus in bright yellow robes. Next, you will visit the Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the most important Buddhist sites in the city. You can enjoy the stupa's peaceful ambiance and watch monks in crimson robes swinging prayer wheels. The next stop is the Swayambhunath Stupa, located atop a hill from you can see the entire view of the city. Finally, you will visit the Kathmandu Durbar Square- a sprawling courtyard of old palaces, temples, and monuments dedicated to Hindu Gods built in medieval times. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your Hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 3

Drive to Chitwan

After breakfast, you will have a drive to Chitwan National Park, which takes about 5 to 6 hours. After arriving at the park, you will be taken to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4

Chitwan National Park

Today, you will spend the day enjoying the many features of the Chitwan National Park, a conservation area where many endangered species of animals can be seen in their natural habitat. The day's schedule includes a jungle safari on the back of an elephant and visiting the ethnic Tharu village. You can also enjoy a boat ride on the Rapti River and visit the Elephant Breeding center. The park also presents a Tharu culture, dance, and PowerPoint presentations about the park and its many features. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5

Drive to Pokhara

From Chitwan, you will be taking a ride to Pokhara- the second largest city in Nepal, and the country's tourist hub. It takes about 6 hours via road to reach Pokhara. The journey is also filled with beautiful sights and natural beauties with terrace farms and pastures raving past the Kali Gandaki River. Finally, as you approach Pokhara, you will get your first glimpses of the Annapurna Peaks. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Pokhara.

Day 6

Hike to Sarangkot

Sarangkot is a beautiful hill station near the city. The hike to Sarangkot is filled with waterfalls and high cliffs covered in moss and lichen. The woodlands also cover the terrain, making the short trip quite serene. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Sarangkot.

Day 7

Sunrise from Sarangkot and sightseeing in Pokhara

Early in the morning before dawn, you will wake up to witness the mesmerizing view of the sunrise from the hill station. Then, you will be hiking back to Pokhara for sightseeing. You will be visiting its many highlights and attractions- like the Mahendra Cave, the World Peace Pagoda, Davi's Fall, the Gupteshwor Cave and many more. The city is also located beside the Phewa Lake, and in the evening, you can also enjoy a leisurely boat ride that will take you bobbling along the lake surface surrounded by Pine and Cedar woodlands. You will also be visiting the Pokhara International Museum, as well as the Gorkha Memorial Museum. After a full day of touring, you will be transferred back to your Hotel.

Day 8

Drive to Kathmandu, the sunset view from Nagarkot

From Pokhara, you will bid the Annapurna Mountains goodbye and drive back to Kathmandu, heading towards Nagarkot. It is one of the best hill stations near the capital and presents amazing views of the distant peaks. In the evening, you can enjoy a soulful sunset amidst the peaks from Nagarkot. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 9

Sunrise from Nagarkot, sightseeing in Patan and Bhaktapur

Waking up early in the morning, you can witness the glimmering sunrise from the hill station. After enjoying the view, you will drive back to the valley towards Bhaktapur where you can enjoy the Bhaktapur Durbar Square. It presents the traditional architecture and Newa art on the buildings and temples. After Bhaktapur, you will then visit Patan where you can enjoy the city's Durbar square as well. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 10

Departure day

Approximately three hours before your scheduled flight, you will be transferred to the airport for your airport departure.
